Archival Quality

Images are currently captured using an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II digital SLR.  Earlier images from slides were scanned into digital format using an Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner.

Giclée canvas prints are created using an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 printer with an 8-color UltraChrome K3 pigmented ink system on archival quality canvas.  They are coated with a satin lacquer-based finish for additional protection against moisture, ultraviolet light, ozone, fingerprints, etc.

Prints produced with archival quality canvas and ink mean that they are acid-free materials with little expected degradation over time.  As long as care is taken to keep them out of direct sunlight, exposure to moisture, etc. they may remain in near perfect condition for 75 - 100 years.  The archival materials and processing are more costly, but significantly increase the expected lifetime of your prints.
